Crysis 2 - 3D Vision Review
Over the last few days, we tried Crytek's new top-rated shooter CRYSIS 2.
And here are the results:
First off, Crysis 2 is a massive game, certainly the best one that has been published so far this year.
The Story:
In CRYSIS 2, Alcatraz, a soldier wearing a hightech "Nanosuit" (modern combat suit with several features such as stealth-mode) has to save the world by destroying calmari-like aliens who are invading new york city that has just been evacuated due to a harmful virus that infected and killed lots of citizens.
The story is full of action and never gets boring. There are lots of various missions the gamer has to fullfill.
It took us about 10 hours to go through the whole campagne.
While infiltrating the city, there are lots of rough battles and fights, the NANOSUIT is very helpful to fight the enemies, as it features stealth-mode, NANOVISION (infrared view) and armoured protection.
The technology
The game uses Cry Engine 3 that fully unleashes its graphical power when setting the in-game graphics options to "Extreme". Crysis 2 offers VERY realistic graphics, especially when playing in 3D Vision Surround. The game definitely is fetching the gamer with its beautiful graphics, that are performing well even on low-end cards such as the 9xxx or GTX2xx series.

3D-Vision Compatibility:
Crysis 2 comes with built-in 3D-Support and therefore works like a charme in stereoscopic 3D - absolutely recommended.
Conclusion:
Crysis 2 offers a stunning gamning experience combined with extraordinary graphics - a perfect match and definitely worth its price.
